On March 6, 1815, in the village of Berezovo, Ishimsky district, Tobolsk province (now it is the Tyumen region), Pyotr Ershov was born - Russian poet and writer, author of the famous fairy tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse". He wrote his most famous work in his youth. He graduated from the tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse" at the age of 19, as a student at St. Petersburg University. The tale was a great success. At first it was published in separate parts in magazines, and in 1834 it was published as a separate book.
After graduating from university, Ershov left for Tobolsk, where he taught at a local gymnasium, then was its director. He wrote poems, stories, plays, but nothing like The Little Humpbacked Horse appeared from under his pen.
On July 7, 1962, in the village of Turtas, Tyumen Region, Zhanna Aguzarova was born - an outrageous Soviet singer of the times of perestroika and glasnost. The peak of her popularity took place in the second half of the 1980s, when she performed as the lead singer of the Bravo group. Famous songs from her repertoire: "Yellow Shoes", "Old Hotel", "I Believe". In the early 1990s, she left for the USA, where she sang in restaurants for some time. In 1996 she returned to Russia, and still occasionally performs solo concerts in front of small audiences (in a club format).
