How to soften stale bread?
Sprinkle the bread with water and put it in the microwave for 1 minute, the bread will become soft.
If there is a multicooker, then pour a little water, put a sieve. As a rule, all multicooker has a sieve, i.e. a device with holes, which is fixed to the edges of the multicooker and does not reach the bottom, can accordingly be installed above the water level. Turn on the "steam" function or just heat. A couple of minutes, the bread will be saturated with moisture and become softer.
If you soften stale bread, you can eat it or cook something delicious with it. The easiest way to soften stale bread is to hold it above the ferry... For this, it is perfect as water in a boiling kettle or saucepan, if you put a colander or sieve on top, and in them bread. In the same way, you can do it in a steamer or in a multicooker in steamer mode, that is, pour water into the multicooker bowl, and leave the bread in a container for steaming.
It is best to cut the bread into pieces, and if not cut, then you can whole loaf.
Heating in microwave oven... The bread is wrapped in a napkin moistened and wrung out of water and placed in the microwave for 10 seconds. After that, you can get it out and eat it.
Oven also suitable for softening stale bread. We wrap it tightly in foil and send it to the oven at a temperature of 150 C, bake inside for about 5 - 20 minutes. The duration depends on the size of the bread slice (s).
You can wrap the bread in a bag with a fresh celery stalk and send it to fridge, let it be there for several hours or all night. During this time, part of the moisture from the stem is given to the bread. The celery stalk itself dries up.
Also, stale bread you can soak it slightly in milk and add to the minced meat, cook something with this bread.
You can make croutons, roll in a beaten egg and fry, the bread will "steam" a little, if at the end you cover the frying pan with a lid. You can pre-soak in milk.
To soften stale bread, you need to warm it up over steam, you can use a multicooker on a steam mode, you can use a double boiler, or you can use a mantle dish. The bread from the steam will become soft again, my mother always did that.
I often heat up bread in the microwave and it becomes soft, although such a piece with bread only works once.
