This is a wonderful Greek salad recipe that is both refreshing and savory. It is especially good in summer when you can use fresh vegetables.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
Ingredients for making Greek salad:
1 head of Romanesque lettuce, washed, dried and chopped;
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 can pitted olives;
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 large tomatoes, chopped;
1 cucumber, sliced;
200 grams of crumbled feta cheese;
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano;
Juice of 1 lemon;
Ground black pepper to taste;
In a large salad bowl, combine lettuce, onions, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese.
Whisk the olive oil together, oregano, lemon juice and black pepper. Pour the sauce over the salad, stir and serve.
