Rice and canned food salad

Rice and canned food salad is a versatile dish. It can be served both as a salad and as a paste for sandwiches and sandwiches, in any case it will be delicious. The cooking time is only 20 minutes, which cannot but please busy housewives.

Canned Rice Salad Recipe

Ingredients for the salad:

  • rice - 0,5 cups;
  • sardine, canned food - 1 can;
  • egg - 4 pieces;
  • onions - 1 piece;
  • mayonnaise - 80-100 grams;
  • salt;
  • fresh greens.

Cooking Rice Salad:

First of all, you need to boil the rice for the salad. Rice, preferably oblong, rinse well several times and cook in salted water, rinse already boiled rice with cold water and let it drain.

Eggs also need to be boiled, cooled and peeled. Then they should be grated on a coarse grater.

Peel and finely chop the onions. Pour boiling water over the onion, then it will not have a specific smell, but at the same time it will remain crispy.

Put the sardine from the jar into a deep plate and remove the vertebrae from it. Then mash the canned food with a fork.

Add to the sardine all the ingredients we previously cooked - boiled rice, chopped eggs and onions. Salt the salad, season with mayonnaise and garnish with herbs.

If you wish, you can add pickled or fresh cucumbers, or just a little thinly sliced ​​Peking cabbage to a salad with rice and canned food. This will spice up your meal.
