How to determine the rise of the foot?
In order to determine the high rise of the foot or not, you can simply wear shoes with laces. If you can put it on without unlaced, then the instep is low. If even with unlaced laces there are difficulties in putting on shoes, then the instep of the foot is high.
To determine what kind of lift you have, you need to stand on the floor with bare feet and stick your index finger (or ask someone to stick theirs) under the arch of your foot. Do not bend your knees!
